Bridlington Bay Bowling Club
Letter received from Tony Hatton, Green Keeper
TO THE COMMITTEE OF BRIDLINGTON BAY BOWLING CLUB.
FOLLOWING DISCUSSION WITH THE ‘GREEN TEAM’ AND MARIE GASCOIGNE (Sewerby Hall)IT HAS BEEN DECIDED BY MYSELF THAT THE GREEN WILL HAVE TO STAY CLOSED UNTIL AT LEAST 1ST JULY 2020.
THE GREEN TEAM HAVE GONE A LONG WAY WITH RENOVATION WORK BUT NEED TO SEED CERTAIN AREAS NOW TO ALLOW GERMINATION.
SEWERBY HALL ARE IN THE PROCESS OF ARRANGING METHODS OF KEEPING THE FACILITES SAFE FOR VISITORS BEFORE RE-OPENING ON 1ST JULY 2020. PARK MANAGEMENT NEED TO KNOW WHAT OUR ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE BEFORE GIVING US PERMISSION TO REOPEN.
WE ALSO NEED TIME TO ARRANGE SIGNPOSTING, BOOKING AND SANITATION.
A COMMITTEE MEETING WILL BE ARRANGED WHEN SOME MORE SUBSTANTIVE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.
It is Wednesday Lunch time and the green has been cut . It would have been ready for the Over 60’s match against Eastfield. Unfortunately that can not happen ,Shame to waste a nice day and nice green.
