  1. It is through no fault of our own that we have all been affected by this awful nasty virus. We must do everything that we can to protect ourselves and others by being sensible and following the authoraties guidlines. Susan and myself are taking this situation very seriously and taking every precaution that we can. I appreciate that the committee are taking measures to protect the members and the public by postponing competitions, matches, bowls drives etc, but I feel that the closure of the green is a measure that need not be necessary.
I would suggest that the green could be open to a member or couple who have their own equipment ie; jack, mat and woods who want a ‘Roll up’ without the need to access the clubhouse or have close contact with any other member using the green.
Having said this we will of couse abide by decisions made by the committee.

    • Thank you very much for your comments,It is good to hear that you are taking all the precautions you can , It is a difficult decision for the committee to take, but they are trying to safeguard all the members. I would hope that all members will understand and accept the committee’s decision.
      Regards Irene
      Club Captain

Opening Hours

The Clubhouse, Bowling & Putting Greens are open every day between the beginning of April and the end of September between the hours of 10.00 and 17.00

If you are intending to use the bowling or putting greens then please ensure that you start your game no later than 16.00

Party Bookings

The Club sometimes receives enquiries for party bookings to use the green.

Party bookings are most welcome but we do have to make our League Games and Club Competitions a priority so please contact our Secretary for further information.

How To Find Us

After admission into the Sewerby Hall & Grounds simply follow the footpath across the front of The Hall to the seaward side of the wall and beside the grassed areas.

The footpath will eventually lead you to the Bridlington Bay Clubhouse where you will be made most welcome.
